Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. She spent the majority of her childhood listening to music from the past, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes along with old classical pieces. Ana loves Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form dramatic performance. She began singing and learning the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she saw her perform with many chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. Following her move to California in United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in the southern part of California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects because of her passion and love for music. Ana is also a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
